Ironwood and Ozpin | Partners

The emerald forest was much bigger from here than Ozpin had assumed from the vantage point at the top of the cliff. It was his first official day at Beacon and he had just been thrown off the cliff and was now in search of someone who would end up being his partner for the rest of his time here. He hoped he’d find someone good. 

He wouldn’t ever boast but he was very confident in his semblance so while his weapon was a staff, that was all it was, simple and effective. If he found someone who did not meet his standards in combat he would be disappointed. 

The prematurely grey student looked around for either a fellow pupil or something to fight in order to prove himself. As he saw the bushes in front of him move he prepared himself, staff in one hand held at his side, aura ready for him to channel it into his semblance.

The moment she spoke, Winter already knew that it made her sound like a petulant child. Internally she was cursing Qrow for getting her into this mess in the first place. There seemed to be no way to word her defense that would put her in good light.
