Tin Goose on Tabletop Simulator. Crazy close game; the top three final scores were only about $5 apart! A ton of disasters got played, which always makes the game tense and dramatic. So, does anyone have a solution to the money handling problem on TTS? In general TTS works great, but moving money around in a transaction-heavy game like this is a bit of a pain. I imported a poker chip set which I thought might be better than the virtual paper money, but I’m not totally convinced that was actually true (although at least the height of the stacks was easier to see). It’s a little tricky. I’m trying to schedule a Food Chain Magnate game and is also pretty transactional. This was the first TTS module I’ve played where the handling costs were enough to be not great, although the overall experience was still good for me. Another thing we did was to ditch Discord and switch to Google Hangouts for voice, and this was a *huge* win. I’m not sure what the deal was with that - our audio quality had been fairly poor, but I just assumed it was network-related since another group I sometimes hang out with online uses Discord and it’s been OK. But the quality improvement was really noticeable, the Discord audio was garbage compared to Hangouts. Very strange. I generally prefer not to use Google products these days if I can avoid it, so if you know a better choice for voice chats let me know. #gaminginthetimeofcovid19 #boardgamegeek #boardgames #tingoose #riograndegames https://www.instagram.com/p/B_9KpkAgN5m/?igshid=1nvwh5p4fcmi9
