The thing is, I'm sure that Theresa was ready to die when she stood up to Runt to protect Henry. She encountered them just after Tinker was killed, and I truly believe that his death was the final straw for her. Tinker was the only thing she had left after losing her home and her family, and you can see how it breaks her when he's slaughtered right before her eyes. This was the moment when Theresa finally cried and let the horror sink in. That sweet, brave dog was the last thing holding her together.

And then she sees this group of bandits about to kill Henry and she's furious and tired and drowning in grief and yeah, she knows she can't do much, she knows it's more than likely that she'll get killed along with Henry, but she faces them anyway, consequences be damned. It's both an act of immense bravery and self-sacrifice, because she went in with no idea that Robard and his soldiers were going to pull a Deus ex machina to save them at the last second. Like I said, she was ready to die, but by Christ she was going to go down kicking and fighting till her last breath.

I was wondering if there’s an Au out there in which a younger Jayce meets an already existing Machine Herald. Disgraced and tossed from the university, Jayce struggles to keep his family business afloat while Piltover seems determined to punch down. Till a man in a hood enters his forge, having heard of a talented pair of hands dispute the blackened name. Over time Viktor returns with more and more work for the young forger… trust building the more they explore their works.
