Land of Black Gold was the first fime he met Abdullah and he was visibly taken aback by Andullah's behaviour. He had more time to think about the kind of person Abdullah is in the later volumes.

I won't forget how shook I was when Tintin beat up Abdullah. So unexpected of a gentle person like him. I wonder if he ever regretted doing that.

He's shown scolding Snowy often too, which makes me wonder what kind of parent he'd be. I assume he'd be quite strict, lol. He has his gentle side too ofc.
