This is a redraw of a really cool poster I found of Tintin and the Blue Oranges! I absolutely loved the style and composition of it, and wanted to put my own spin! And I thought it was really cute that Milou and Haddock were trailing behind him in their own way, with Haddock looking slightly confused, lol.

Ended up colouring this phone doodle! The trio Tintin, Chang and Martine is real to me (god knows how much Tintin needs friends close to his age) and they do all the girly stuff together like real material girls (pun intended)!

Although Zorrino did not spend so much time with Tintin and Haddock, I like to imagine they are close! 🥹

The first drawing is based on the Tintin musical when Haddock places his hat on Zorrino… UGH MY HEART!

And the second one is based on the Spiderverse meme hahah. I like to think that since Zorrino is described as “having guts” by Haddock, he would be a great candidate for a mini Tintin in training (for better or for worse.)

Even if it was temporary, they were somewhat a little family and I just love that so much.

And bonus Haddotin and Zorrino (headcanon that he loves their affection.)

I think Hergé did a great job in simplifying the outfits of native Peruvians. Though I wanted to make an illustration where I could really put in the detail often found in Quechua clothing. And… I really wanted to draw Zorrino with a bunch of llamas!

Not sure what Zorrino is talking to Tintin about, but probably something about apples and llamas lol. It was really fun to think about what Zorrino’s poncho and hat might look like with more patterns :)

The Shooting Star outfits are so adorable… and you can’t convince me that Tintin didn’t think very carefully about picking this outfit for Haddock to see.

I tried to add somewhat vintage looking effects to make it look softer, and also slightly changed up my style. Basically I wanted them to look as fluffy as possible 💛
