Looking for input for archival purposes.

Hey all sorry for the silence again but I’m hoping to ask for a little bit of input here. I’ve been thinking over how to present certain things I’ve been discovering. Especially given tumblr is heavily limited on picture posting and had to consider if I would end up creating more then one post about things and just figuring out a way to keep all the data together. After some discussion, I am considering making a text list of all the people Ugigiugi copied because based on what me and a few people have found. This list would be divided into brackets for the sake of organization and keeping updates. Here’s what I’m thinking of as a breakdown of the list.

Twist Fan artist Ugigiugi has copied (Eastern and western artists)

Other Artist who Ugigiugi has traced. (People who are not part of Twst community who have their work stolen ei: Oc’s, tracing from other fandom’s fanart.)

Open resources that Ugigiugi has copied/not given credit to (These are the “anime” or “Pose” bases as well as patreon reward bases Ugi has taken)

A small section for Twst Game animation/resources along with Disney related things. (While JP disney/Aniplex and the other studios involved have copyright protection, this is still a part of the issues of tracing so I’ll address this section.

Other copyrighted material. (Aka Manga, other published and officially licensed comic or manga series. Again copyright protection is still in place for these but this part will need to be addressed.

I feel like this format will at help list things down for people. I have a private list myself but I figure perhaps releasing something equivalent can help organize findings since a number of people have stuff on one side or another. Plus? After everything I’ve been combing through? It’s just a rabbit hole at this point because I’ve been just finding more things going through older content I enjoyed and now all I see is just where tracing happened. I can update the text list with names of artists as more things come up. Also If anyone else wants to add names, all they have to do is message me with proof of the copy/original source and name of the artist to help credit stuff. At least that's my idea on the matter. (Tho i will need to go backlog in the #tag because i know i have missed peoples previous posts due to my busy schedule, my apologies on that one!) People are free to leave comments on this post for input. I’m just generally trying to see if a list would be a good idea for archival purposes as well as just adding all the numbers to a tally. -TwstedPomeTea

About Crowstales?

Tagging @nekanecorvus I just wanted to let peeps know I have no idea what just happened to @ crowstales. They had messaged me (yesterday) to be wary about an anon when suddenly (before I could reply to their message) it said their blog was deactivated. I have 0 idea is something happened on their side. However, whatever the reason being is I went ahead and reblogged the tracing posts Crowstales made here onto this blog for reference as my links on my previous posts ain’t working. For the new followers: Please reference the reblogs I did for links in my previous posts. Otherwise I am unsure what else I can say about what just happened.

Pome Check-in and Updates

Hello folks. This is a minor update since I've had messages sent to me wondering where I went off. First,I do extend an apology to folks who thought I was ignoring them and such. I just had a lot on my end. Given things in RL stuff got busy. I also had a major burnout from the PDF itself.

Still, I did want to say a good job to the people who have been finding more traced stuff from Ugigiugi. As expected, there is still stuff out there to be sourced. I also appreciate folks still sending me stuff and names or just posting the materials online with side-by-side comparisons. In any case; while I am making notes about archiving stuff; I know some people wondered if I would be updating the PDF in any capacity. I'll just go ahead and say given the amount inside this PDF? No. If tried to add more inside it runs the risk of getting too big to host it. (I'm avoiding Google Docs due to its AI drama). The PDF did hit its initial goal, which was to name at least 100 sources that Ugigiugi copied from. (Though again there is probably more out there) And while I am not updating that PDF that doesn't mean I won't take note of other people's findings and add note annotations in case something else happens down the line. That being said if people want to continue to identify tracings and such by all means keep doing it if you like, just don't burn yourselves out obviously. I'll make another post with some sources and notes to help. But otherwise, though, this is my update in general and I just plan to enjoy things passively. -TwstedPomeTea

Notice to whoever is copy pasting/altering my posts.

It’s come to my attention someone on here is basically copy pasting some of my posts but deleting the sections of my discouragement of harassment here on tumblr. Going to ask you all to NOT be doing that.

I know Ugi’s done wrong in the fandom but literally copy pasting and altering my stuff is a big no for me. I have a feeling some of ya’ll are just using that to encourage harassment if your deleting the last parts of my posts. Gonna ask nicely once to whoever owns @ugigiugi-is-an-art-thief to delete those posts. I’m also going to extend this notice to everyone else who’s watching this blog as well. Please do not do this. People are welcome to reblog stuff, but copy pasting and altering stuff is a big no and that's going to be added to this blogs rules. -TwstedPomeTea

Still About

Some people poked me about where I’ve been. I’m still about I’ve been working with a few peeps with sourcing stuff. (Needless to say trying to go back 2020-2023 for fanart checking is a bit time consuming) ATM we’re on break so I’ll be about answering and checking stuff again.

Rules-Memo for this blog!

Considering the situation that happened with Crowstales, I’m going to be setting some ground rules. Including about messaging me. I will ask people to please read this post if you plan to interact with this blog! Blog Rules: 1. Please remember my posts (and their topics) are for just educating the fandom and not meant to be used as an excuse to harass someone!  

Yes, Ugi has traced stuff and done other stuff, but it is better to just protect ourselves from her. I can only suggest is that people don’t support her or Block her. By doing so we disable her range in the fandom space. We also need to alert people she’s traced from so they can handle stuff (as a lot of social media limits who can report about tracing.)

I do not want people Doxxing anyone within the Twst-Fandom! I do not support Doxxing. That is against the law!

You can also educate people if you want about the situation but please do not harass, message bomb or spread misinformation! There is a way to educate and make others aware of the tracing issue without annoying others.

You should also respect that people don’t want to deal with drama and that's fine. Everyone has their boundaries. This is why I also made tags so if people want they can blacklist stuff out. Block and move on if need be!

2. No Anon messages! Anon is disabled for this blog!

Again; I will not be supporting any Doxxing and as such if you want to share something your going to have to message or ask me normally.

Despite Anon being off though; I can promise if people do find any traced images and their sources I will keep all messages/asks private between myself and whoever sends the message if your so concerned about privacy.  

If people want me to answer their asks publicly, then please also let me know when you send a message to me.

3.This blog is only going to focus on tracing/plagiarism issues.

As an artist myself, this is where my main focus will be about all this.

All I would like to do is help source things to the original fan-artists/creators because they deserve credit for their artwork and because I don’t support blatant tracing/plagiarism.

Yes, there is a difference in tracing/copying/referencing. I will go over this in a later post to help educate people.

I do not appreciate anyone taking my posts and copy pasting them and altering anything from them to be used for whatever reason.

I have a life outside this Twsty-dramaland. So just be patient. I might not reply quickly given apparently how many messages/people are currently pinging me so please bare with me.

6. Please be civil when interacting with this blog!
