I try to be good

To be kind, to be gentle.

But sometimes the noise is so loud,

So scary

And I freeze.

There are no word to break free,

No safe space to just, breathe.

I feel scared that it might consume me

Eat me whole,

Demolish my entire being.

But there is a little voice in the back of my dreamy head that speaks to me.

It says, little one, you are allowed. To not be perfect. To cry. To scream. To shout.

You are allowed to be just as your are and feel every little feeling you were denied before.

I hope this voice can find me,
