Interesting thing I noticed while replaying instances for achievements: they seem to have changed the way they denote whether an achievement is inside an instance or in the open world.
In previous stories you would mouse over the achievement and see the little Story Instance: Whatever It Is and know you had to go into Whatever It Is instance to get the achievement. Like so:
But now those are gone! Instead, they seem to have made custom icon art for each instance, and then one for the open world too! Check these out:
Party Animal and Wanderer Weaving were instance achievements while I'm Cutting You Off! was achieved in the open world. Each instance has its own art (teapot for Raw Deal, Jade Brotherhood emblem for Air of Mystery, mushroom for Deep Trouble) and the open world is a shard of jade. This way you can tell at a glance where you need to go for the achievement, and the only achievements that still have the story instance tag are the ones you get on completion of said story instance. So that you know which art corresponds to each instance. Neat!
