10 Tiny Tweaks to Stay More Focused While Using Windows 10
Do you have trouble focusing on your computer work and can’t get focused while using windows 10? Steadily working on one task is difficult for a lot of people.
It’s no surprise thanks to all sorts of fancy animations and graphics, distracting on-screen elements, and having hundreds of time-wasting websites a few clicks away.
Put these small changes into practice, and we bet you’ll find it easier…

April 2013 Birchbox Review
I just LOVE this month's Birchbox. There were only five items and a magazine subscription but I am still super excited. This month Birchbox partnered with Women's Health to bring us "tiny tweaks, Big Results".
April 2013 Birchbox
Contents
Ruby Wing Color Changing Nail Polish in Peony
This is my favorite item in the box. If I wasn't currently testing out the Essie Resort Collection polishes (check my Instagram for pics!) I would have painted my nails with this as soon as I got the box open. This peach shade is supposed to turn into a "brilliant red" in the sun. I saw this in a Birchbox sneak peak and was secretly hoping I would get it in my box this month. Can't wait to try this out.
Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On
A Simple eyeroller that is meant to reduce puffiness and refresh your eyes; who can't benefit from that? There's also a coupon on the back for $1 off any Simple product. They claim they are the "sensitive skin experts" so I will be testing that claim with my very sensitive skin this weekend.
Atelier Cologne - Ambre Nue Cologne Absolue
I'll be brief on this one. I think it kind of smells like church incense which in turn reminds me of little old ladies. Not a huge fan of amber fragrances and this one has notes of spicy amber, sweet jasmine, and green mandarin.
LIERAC Paris Concentré Mésolift Toning Radiance Serum
This serum is loaded with "potent antioxidants to fight off wrinkles". Who wants wrinkles? Not me. Even though I'm in my mid-20's it can't hurt to start preventative measures in my humble opinion.
Number 4 Blow Dry Lotion
The closest I can come to describing the scent on this is "baby powder in the summer". Weird? Yes, but that's me. And I kind of love the scent, hahaha. I'll definitely be giving this a try the next time I straighten my hair.
Also included this month is a year long subscription to Women's Health Magazine which is a $10 value in itself. Also? If you don't want to subscribe to the magazine there are details to get a refund at the bottom so essentially this month's box could pay for itself. Swoons. I think I'm in officially in love with a new subscription service.
I know Birchboxes vary from person to person so what did you get in yours this month?
BIRCHBOX!
So, April's Birchbox arrived and is so much better than last month's I decided to write a little blurb about it!
Last month I got a nail file, a scrunchie, some shaving cream, nail art thingies and some blemish spot treatment. Cool stuff, but not great.
This month was AWESOME!
First off, some delicious, vegan, gluten-free macaroons! Hail Merry chocolate macaroons, the only thing I have actually tried yet and mmmmmmmmm!
The one I will probably use least is the most expensive thing in here, *le sigh*. It's a moisturizing wrinkle-reducer eye cream, which is awesome, but I just don't need it. I don't get dark circles, crows' feet, any of that biz. I know, poor me right? It's a teeny-tiny 3 ml jar, but it'll probably last me ages. Full size is $160?! Geez, glad I don't need much ... LAFACE Laboratories Beaux Yeux.
Next up is Supergoop! CC Cream. Baisically, this thing is a miracle for girls like me, who don't do crap. I wear mascara and chapstick, eyeshadow if I am feelin' fancy. It's a concealer, it's a moisturizer, it's a color corrector, it's got SPF 35! Magic, I tells ya. Another 3 ml sample, but I suspect this one will go a lot quicker ... Supergoop! Daily Correct SPF 35 CC Cream, full size $32.
Two more to go, and I saved my favorite two for last. Huile Divine from Caudalie is gonna go fast this summer, let me tell you. A blend of oils that is great for hair, skin, nails, etc. with a subtle perfume-y scent that isn't too sweet, nor too musky ... can't wait to try is on my sun-dried locks during beach season. Another 3 ml sample, full size $9-49.
And we have saved the best for last, Beauty Protector's Protect & Detangle spray. This sample is a very generous ... well, I don't know the size, but about the size of a hotel room conditioner. Decent! It's a leave in conditioner that does it all: detangles, thermal and UV protector, leaves hair healthy, shiny, and moisturized (or so it claims!). It also has a delicious coconut-floral-y smell that isn't too sweet but reminds me of Hawaii in a crazy way - I could wear this stuff as perfume! Full size, $22.
Also, free one-year subscription to Women's Health. Fun!
I can't wait to try out all my awesome April products - hope they live up to the hype!
TL;DR I got cool stuff for $10/month! Whee!
