Please remember that Final Fantasy XIV is a game. It’s what you do for fun and entertainment. Even though we play with and alongside others, whether we agree with their actions or not, nobody deserves to feel hunted, harassed or abused. Nobody in the community is entitled to your time.
Please take care of yourselves. Care for each other and try to focus on what makes this fun for you. What drew you to this game, the people you play with and the things you enjoy the most are worth hanging on to. Trust me, I know.
Some things suck about it yeah. There’s elements in the story that some disagree with and elements people choose to play with that might not suit others. The great thing is that there’s always a part of the community that wants to rp what you wanna rp. There’s always stories and adventures and gameplay that you love as well.
Because it seems that there’s another new drama each day. Another bogeyman or discourse or callout. I think we can all stand to look at the positives, and lift each other up. Tearing other people down doesn’t feel good, surely?
If there are real, very real issues that need to be reported, report them. If there are suggestions you feel the devs need to hear the best method is the forums. (Yeah I know it’s not perfect, but our creative team has shown they hear our concerns at least, even is sometimes they go unanswered.)
