I know you’re probably not here but I’m totally into your tiny wings au, how did Dekiu and kiri meet, ik in middle school, but how, who asked who, how r there dates, now I can’t imagine kiri having a feather gifted by izuku he makes into a hairpiece/earring to remind him of the bd, sorry great ship btw

hi i'm usually not here but this ask got me feeling some kind of way... is it cringe to be nostalgic for an au i made? LOL anyways

they actually didn't meet in middle school, the first time they met was when they were much younger! it's just that they didn't get to KNOW each other until middle school.

their first meeting was brief but cute. it was around when kids their age started getting their quirks. although, in tiny wings, izuku was technically born with his (since it's mutation type). kirishima didn't have his yet though. they met when izuku fell out of the sky because he was trying (and failing) to fly LOL kirishima caught him and izuku was very embarrassed. kirishima thought he was soooo cool though cuz he already had his quirk, didn't matter that he couldn't use it very well yet.

and then they went their separate ways... come middle school, though, and kirishima remembers him :) izuku doesn't recognize him right away though. to his credit, it's been several years, and kirishima didn't have any stand out traits back then, unlike izuku's tiny wings ;P he does recall their interaction once kirishima reintroduces himself though. and then he gets embarrassed all over again. kirishima's convinced he's gotta be flying high by now though, and makes izuku promise to show him how much better he's gotten since they last saw each other.

ofc, izuku can't really "fly high" as kirishima said, but his technique is definitely better than it was before. he can maneuver really well, boost himself into places that would be impossible to reach for a normal person, and so on. izuku shows him what he can do at like, a park or something where there's a lot of obstacles and things to bounce off of. and even though izuku feels like it's not very impressive, kirishima thinks his moves are sick. they keep hanging out after this

i don't think izuku would make the first move irt asking kirishima out LOL although he would be veryyyy bad at hiding his feelings. as per canon he kind of wears his heart on his sleeve LMAO so kirishima would definitely Know For A Long Time what was up. for him it would just be a matter of finding the best time and place to ask. cuz he's pretty confident izuku will say yes (he does)

the feather idea is really cute too augh,, maybe that's what izuku gives him when kirishima finally asks him out LOL idk that'd be adorable i think <3

I was following Tiny Wings AU for a while and after working my way through all the exams I finally got to draw the feathers of this precious green chicken nugget! Thanks @tenya for coming up with such dope idea, I love it and can't wait to see more 💚🐥
