the hills next to my college campus were on fire and so close to everyone that students were being evacuated and there was all this Ash and smoke in the air and you didn’t get excused if you missed class

college admins are fucking buckwild. my friend’s sister was in med school in miami when the hurricane hit and they didn’t get excused from class even after there was a mandatory evacuation in place. my friend’s school was on lockdown because of an active shooter on campus and profs still kept lecturing without going into lockdown mode. 

anyways stay safe!! it’s not that bad for me here but i know a lot of people are having to leave

I’m from SoCal but I go to school on the central coast and everyone is like WHY DO YOU NEED THE THE???

OK my reasoning is you would say “I’m taking the freeway” and not just “I’m taking freeway” so OBVIOUSLY you would say “I’m taking the 5″
