It will give you an alert if you go to an online shopping site that does business with the Trump family. A must if you do much online shopping.

Tiny Acts of Resistance

I am currently living outside of the US, so apart from reading and writing about what’s going on back home, there’s really not much that I can do. I wish I could attend marches or volunteer at Planned Parenthood or something like that, but I can’t.

I knew that I’d have to think outside the box for my resistance. I had read about the valuable institutions and programs threatened by Trump’s proposed budget, and public libraries were on the chopping block. So I did what I should have done ages ago and finally paid off the overdue fines that had been sitting in my account for nearly ten years!

Tiny Acts of Resistance

It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed or discouraged by everything that’s happened since the November election. With all that we read on the news, we can feel powerless that we’re not able to make a difference, but we are. While this election has motivated millions of people to march, attend city council meetings, or donate/volunteer to various organizations (which is amazing), not everyone is able to do so for various reasons.
