                “time passes differently here than it does out there,”  she’s in his head, and she knows it’s not fair to him but she needs his help. and she hasn’t spoken to anyone in years. until hank can get her out, scott’s all janet has for company.  “i can only imagine how the world has changed technologically, scientifically, medically ... who’s alexa and what is a netflix ?”  she gets bits and pieces from scott’s head, but it’s not safe to root around in there for too long.

Ahh, the little warrior prince of Conlis. Han-Yu had seen him once, at the castle during a small banquet, though he didn't know if the kid remembered him. (Actually, Han-Yu couldn't remember much about the royal family either, outside from what was already common knowledge. He'd spent most of the banquet skulking in a corner somewhere, because he'd been in a bad mood after breaking his...wrist? Was it his wrist? Which one, left or right? Maybe it had been a thumb.... Huh, funny - normally, one'd probably remember a bone-breaking incident.... Oh, whatever!)

He had a little time to kill, so might as well make friendly, he supposed? He thought that maybe his dad had been hinting that he should socialize more with the upper class, maybe, possibly....
