when i was on retreat there was a stray cat on campus who was super friendly. it would walk up to you when you called it and rub against you. it had all of its claws but didn't use them (except when it crawled it your lap; it just wanted to hold on). it would start purring once you scratched behind the ears and it never hissed. i named it peaches. it caught on, too. that retreat was great.
