So... Two years ago today, at the age of 17, I officially beat stage 4 cancer!
It's my anniversary and I'm so excited! This is the good news I've been waiting to share❤️
I’m sorry my actual positivity posts have been slow recently. I have some wonderful news, and some not-so-wonderful news.
Let’s get the bad stuff out of the way: I’m being tested to make sure my cancer hasn’t come back. I’m having symptoms that could point to cancer, so I’m having a scan done on Tuesday. I saw my non-cancer doctor today, and she gave me antibiotics to try and take care of some of the symptoms, so fingers crossed!
But, happier news now! Today I got a job illustrating a comic - Work won’t begin until July or so, but I’m going to be illustrating a comic (which will be published worldwide!) alongside some big artists who draw for DC/Marvel. I can’t wait! 🌱
