L: How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?

I ask this one cause I’m terrible with it. I over edit and just end up not posting most of what I write. I have like 3 Ford fics that are sitting in my journals unposted cause of this.

Thanks for asking! At least four or five, but then I find at least a dozen typos AFTER I post the damn thing. I think I must have typo blindness. I can read over something I’ve written a million times and not see the mistakes until I post it. Then I have to edit it in AO3, while yelling “Nobody read it yet, it’s not ready!!”

And yet when I’m reading other people’s stories, the typos and grammar mistakes are the first things that jump out at me. I’m a giant hypocrite. lol

Don’t tell me you have Ford fics! Now I want to read them!
