Blurb: Calum Hood, had always been your next door neighbor, and sure he’d come over for dinner occasionally because your moms were friends but that was pretty much it. You might of had a small crush on him but nothing you had ever payed attention to, he’d always just been your neighbor. Nothing more, nothing less. And sure somewhere along the way you’d heard he was in a band, but thought nothing of it. It wasn’t until you no longer saw him at school, and never jogging about in the neighborhood that you realized he’d gone on tour with that same band. It was an absurd idea, lots of boys go through a phase where they wanna be in a band, never had it occurred to you he would actually go somewhere with this. And it had especially never occurred to you that you could possibly like him more than you realized, until you hadn’t seen him in months and were desperately missing his witty remarks at the dinners his family came to at your house. You’d tried to put it out of your mind, but it was almost impossible. You walked into your house just like any other day, tonight was another night his family come for dinner and you were instantly distressed about it, it wasn’t that you didn’t like his family,but seeing them just reminded you that he wasn’t there. Turning the corner to your dining room just like any other day there sat his family, but you noticed something different. There in the chair opposite your mom, was the messy haired cheekboned boy refered to as Calum. You’re smile instantly grew wider. You breezed by dinner like usual, and now as you stood out on the porch Calum at your side you had finally decided to tell him how you felt. “You know I always had a crush on you, but I didn’t realize how much I actually liked you until you were suddenly gone.” You looked over at the puppy eyed boy to see his expression, but before you could see his reaction, his lips smacked into yours.
