IT’S OKAY (Reader Insert Opinion)
Hey ya’ll, I guess you can call this an opinion or a mini tip I felt like offering.
I know I’m mostly known for my reader insert stories and I just wanted to say this to anyone else who likes to write or read these stories but... it’s OKAY to make the reader mean, or even nasty, vulgar or quirky or just plain crazy. I make some of my readers mean lol and I personally think it’s hilarious, it’s even okay to make the reader kind of evil. It’s kinda interesting to put yourself in a pair of shoes that lets you be a little sassy and mean for just a little bit ya know?
I’m writing this because I actually had a recent comment given to me that they like it when the reader’s a little mean and that spoke out to me since although all the reader insert stories I’ve read are brilliant, almost all the readers were super kind, likable and cool. Which of course is brilliant too but to anyone else who might want to make their own stories, don’t be afraid to make the reader mean or not so likable. If you want to make them likable and kind, hey go for it! That’be awesome! BUT... don’t be afraid if you want to make them mean or not so likable either. Just thought I’d give that reassurance :3
