4 tips to help you when designing something
Designing something is not easy and It always gives me a headache. I have revised my design hundred times, but it still seems not good.
Here are four tips for you!
1. Change the place you are working now.
It would be hard to come up with a good idea if you were sitting in the same place with a frustrated mood. I usually work something at home, but sometimes I go to a cafe. There are moderate noise and people there, which makes me more focused on my working. While moving the place, you may have a few other thinking and perhaps it gives you a new idea and fresh feeling.
2. Eat some sweet things.
Again, your design wouldn't be good when you feel frustrated. Take your hands off the job for a while, then go and eat the sugar like cookies and chocolates. These sugars make you feel better. In fact, the glucose component activates the brain. When people consume sugar, they can be less stressful and more focused on work.
3. Take a nap.
If you have time to finish the work, stop what you are doing and take a nap. The effect of a nap is more awesome than you expected. If you take a nap, your memory will improve five times more than usual. Besides, it improves your creative thinking. When stressed, the 'cortisol', a steroid hormone, is secreted, but naps reduce it.
4. See other people's designs.
Unlike the concept of reference, just see how others have thought and designed. The purpose is to see other people's thoughts. See the designer's way to get inspiration and ideas until one design is created. Their philosophy can inspire you and may bring a new idea. Design your own with these new inspirations.
