Lets talk pets at your sessions. Everyone here is pretty familiar with my love for animals and the constant encouragement to bring them to sessions, but what does that involve? ✨bring a friend✨ no not just your four legged friends a human one! They can help keep your pet occupied while you get your regular pictures done! ✨treats✨ bring your pets favorite treat or toy with you, it helps keep the session fun and stress free for your pet, and grabs their attention for photos! ✨leashes✨ I always keep your pets on a leash. No picture is worth losing your pet over! But, with that being said, avoid thick harnesses as those are extremely hard to photoshop out. Now if your pet is trained extremely well and you are comfortable with them off leash, you can definitely do that! ✨Time✨ these kinds of sessions take a bit more time to get the shots we need so make sure you are prepared to spend an extra 30 minutes at your sessions! ✨location✨ bringing your pet does require more strategic location scouting! Gotta ask questions like is my animal allowed in this area? How busy is it? Any threats to the safety of my pet? I also have a list of locations that are great for bringing your pet, and I have done all the research for you! ✨basic commands✨ it is important for bog mostly to understand basic commands such as their name, sit, and stay. Knowing those commands will make your session flow easier and be less stressful for you! ✨behavior✨ yes this is super important, I do not allow aggressive pets on my sessions that threaten my safety and the safety of others. So if your animal is aggressive around others it is probably best you leave them at home.
