Thursday Tips: when you hear the words “meal prep” most people think it’s only for hardcore bodybuilders that have to eat every 2-3hours to get in enough calories to sustain their training and fuel their gainz , but it is as simple as “being prepared” so that you don’t grab that crinkly packet from the office vending machine or quickly dash through a fast food drive-through to keep your tummy gremlins at bay. Today (like most days) I had back to back meetings and had to eat whilst in the parking lot. Training Tips Thursday: it is good to stay motivated in the gym by pushing yourself and trying new forms of exercises. I incorporated this move into my leg routine this week and it was a killer: “Inverted leg press” -you lie face-up on a bench under a smith machine barbell (make sure the safety arms are engaged!) with hips in line with the bar and arch of your feet on the bar. Press upwards using your glutes and hamstrings until your legs are extended (don’t lock your knees) and return to start position.
