"At the time, yes, but...you have others."Tyllanthus only stared at her, almost too stunned by the lack of violence in Esme's actions at the moment as opposed to earlier, when they were rolling around beneath the sheets."I may have wanted this at one point, but I didn't want it anymore. You have more than one lover, I'm well aware of this, and I didn't want to just be another one," Esme explained further. Standing, she wrapped herself in the sheet, leaving Tyllanthus without. Gathering her clothing, she shot the Mage a look over her shoulder as she slipped into the changing room. "As satisfying as it was, it will not happen again."

"Varaelian Nilhandril--" Tyll smacked the paladin on the arm, "Not funny, you know I can't compare you two. Besides, it's like apples and oranges." The red head reached up, tying his hair into a high ponytail with a ribbon he stole from his partners head.

Esme and Tyll for the relationship thingy

PROS:

He handles her the best out of almost anybody she knows. (+1)She constantly pushes him and doesn’t baby him, unintentionally urging him to grow. (+1)Again, have I mentioned she really likes magic? (+1)They both have come to an understanding and balance that makes it at least a little easier to trust one another. (+1)He genuinely looks out for her without making it obvious, keeping her from being a stubborn butt about it. (+1)They both have the same irritations over unruly brats (HYPOCRITICAL AS IT MAY BE). (+1)

CONS:

He is absolutely not her type physically. (-1)He is more submissive than anything. He offers her no real challenge in that regard, just an equal partnership. (-1)They’re more like siblings and they ain’t no Lannisters. (-2)She really, really, really doesn’t like Felanias or some of the other people he is close with. (-1)

They actually make a good couple, but not in a romantic sense. That shouldn’t diminish what they have though, and that is a genuine friendship - something very difficult to get from her. I think that if they WERE ever to be put together, it would work, but there would be absolutely no heat or chemistry. Friends.

Standing on the terrace of such an unfamiliar manor, Esme had abandoned the crimson and gold gown that she had adorned earlier and her thick hair held waves that were telling of the intricate braid it had been held in. Dressed in a robe and looking comfier for it, she didn’t bother to look to the side as Tyllanthus joined her. He had also abandoned the formal attire in favor of a robe though he looked almost anxious rather than relaxed.

"Esme, I know this wasn’t—"

She raised a hand to silence him, which it did, and then tentatively reached over to place it on his. The touch was unfamiliar and rare from her, but it was soft all the same. Holding onto him, she took a deep breath and raised her chin.

"I don’t mind. It was you."

♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)One of the things that Esme is very embarrassed about is her inability to write well. While she learned to read and was able to expand her vocabulary by constantly reading when she had the time, she was never formally taught how to write.

☮ - Do they have an idol or someone they look up to?Esme had one person that they idolized and they’re dead. Currently, she don’t look up to anybody. Though she does have a few people that she respects and wishes she could be a little more like (idolizes is just a strong word for it). Those people will remain secret though. :)

✖ - Who is someone they just cannot stand?Beyond being slightly irritated at some people, Esme cannot stand Kiratalya.
