“If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know what you are.” #motherteresa⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ I always found that traveling and working in travel really teaches you many lessons on life, love, culture, by mostly oneself.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ My biggest lesson I have learned is a tough one. And this is that not everyone will like and/or agree with you.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ The first group of people who left my life where those who could not relate to my dream of starting this business. Or maybe they didn’t understand why I would live half the year in Italy. Although my business kick off was an exciting time for me, it was quite sad. I lost many friends during this period.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ The second time this happen was stepping up in my power as a business owner. Anytime I stood up for myself in the presence of someone who could not handle it, I was shut down. Most of the time this was done with harsh words. During this period I lost many people in business and personal life.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ These are just two extreme examples but my point is, as we go through life you will learn that there will be those that are just not a fit for you.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ That’s ok. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ You can’t make everyone love you and you can’t love everyone. But you must NOT give up your dream, goals , or who you are. You must just be you and stay your own path. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ As I always say, the ones that are worth having around, the ones who truly care, love, and support you (no matter what) will stick around, I promise. #TISinspire ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ (at Castelmezzano)
