Hi! I wasn't sure if requests were still open, but may I request Quirrel, the nailmasters, and Tiso with a vessel s/o who has nightmares?
I apologize as this is a big request so please take your time! don't rush yourself!
If it's alright, I only ended up doing Mato of the 3 nailmasters cus I was a bit pressed for time. If you really want to see the other two tho, just send me another ask and I'd be happy to write for them!
Quirrel:
Quirrel was very worried about you when the nightmares first started. He already knew about the history of Hallownest and the King's experiments, so when you told him that the dreams were about your past as a vessel, he immediately went into Very Worried Boyfriend Mode TM.
When Quirrel is confronted with a problem, his go-to solutions is usually to research it, so he instantly began combing the Archives for info on breathing exercises, calming techniques, and anything else he thought might help. He even started learning to brew different types of calming tea and got surprisingly good at it (he makes a mean earl grey).
I have a headcannon that Quirrel really likes to sing even though he's not very good at it, so I imagine he would make up songs to sing to you on bad nights to help you fall back asleep or even just to make you laugh.
Mato:
Mato is very much a physical touch love language kind of guy, so prepare yourself for the most snuggles you've ever received in your life.
He never really pried for details about the nightmares beyond what you told him upfront. He mostly just made sure you felt warm and safe and comfortable enough to fall back asleep.
Mato's got a bit of a sweet tooth, and sometimes he'll make you both hot chocolate to sip on. He insists that warmth and chocolate is the best cure for insomnia there is. Is he right? Who knows, but it does always make you feel better.
Tiso:
One thing that bothers Tiso more than anything in the world is not being able to help. He's a man of action, and when he's faced with a problem, he takes it head on and fights until he wins. However, these nightmares weren't something he could swing a sword at.
Still, Tiso isn't one to give up. He might not be very good with words or comforts, but he adapted. He let himself be softer. He's there for you no matter what you need, whether that's a hug, some reassuring words, or even just to not be alone. He'd sit in silence all night with you if that's what it took.
More than anything, Tiso hates not being able to help the people he cares about, especially you. He'd do anything if it meant you'd feel safe again.
