Check out this scalpel I finished up a while back. This one has some black sea dichrolam from @john.blazy_dichrolam_llc along with a little stabilized ancient bog oak from @robswildwood and copper accents. Check out this vintage black bark buttercream paper micarta I got from @kiranskoa at @blade_show , this stuff has such an excellent color to it and if you look closely where it meets the white liner you can even see the definitive transition from the inner yellow core to the black exterior. This was a fun pair to make and I was really happy with the end result. Normally I don't care for dyed wood but this stabilized black ash burl was definitely an exception, it paired perfectly with the natural canvas micarta and moonglow acrylic spacer. I used some @fatcarbon dark matter carbon fiber from @makermaterialsupply on this MEK. It was my first time using this particular pattern and I found it to be some interesting stuff.
