Erwin had always been one to explore, taking the lesser known paths of the city simply for the off chance of finding something unusual. Most times it ended up being a fruitless effort, but it was fun nonetheless simply for the sake of the journey. But times he did find something of interest were the most fun- finding a small bakery, or eclectic shops to browse through- there was always something new around the corner he had yet to discover.
The trinket-y shops were his favorites, with little knick-knacks to look over and bring home should the impulse strike. In fact, considered himself lucky when he found one particularly unusual shop. A little spot called the Copper Cauldron down a small cobbled alleyway with seemingly boarded up old shops abandoned decades prior. It was the only shop that didn’t have dusty display windows with age-old products long forgotten. The blonde noted the rather pungent smell of patchouli drift from the shop’s door. And going by the very large ‘open’ sign, it was safe to go in.
Without a shred of hesitance, Erwin peeked his head in through the door of the small shop, looking around with thinly hidden curiosity as the door’s bell tinkled, announcing his entrance. Not immediately seeing anyone at the front counter, the man could’t help but call out.
“Hello? Is anyone here?”
