Surprising Matt with a tattoo of his name
a/n: this is my first fanfic so I’m basically shivering in my timbers,if you have any other tips or suggestions I will be reading into it! But let’s hope you like this!
You’ve had this idea for quite a while, while you wanted to surprise him you couldn’t keep it a secret. Because as we know Matt,he tends to know when you’re hiding something from him…
But still you chose to book an appointment at the tattoo shop.
So now here you are waiting nervously for your tattoo artist to call your name, while you were lost in thought about which one to get and where you decided that you will get it behind your earlobe, with his initials in it, M.S.
While you were overthinking this you hear someone call your name
You basically jump in your seat when you heard that,but you got up,smiled at the tattoo artist while she directed you where to sit.
“Hi,I’m Jenny and I will be doing your tattoo today! Do you have an inspo on where and what to do?”
“Hi, and yes I do! I want it behind my earlobe with the initials M.S on it”
“Okay got it! I’m gonna apply some numbing cream so it won’t hurt that much.”
You slowly sat on the bed and waited nervously for the numbing cream to work its magic, about 15 minutes later you were ready to start. So you layed down and followed the instructions that Jenny gave you (which in this case are: to tell her whenever it gets to overwhelming,and if you need any water or snack break)
She came in the room with some samples of the tattoo and made you decide where to put it.
After 15 minutes you finally decided where you want it (why are we being picky hello?)
Jenny started her procedure and about 30 minutes passed and you were finally done!!
“Alrighty! You’re finally done, I’m just gonna wrap this up for ya and give you some tips on what to do the you’ll be ready to go!
You walked out of the tattoo shop literally buzzing with excitement to show Matt your new tattoo, you got in the car and drove back home smiling ear to ear and imagining his reaction to it.
The reason why you chose the tattoo placement to be behind your earlobe was because Matt always kissed you there, even he admitted that behind your earlobe was his favorite spot to kiss,that makes sense now doesn’t it!
You got home and you knew that there wasn’t any point announcing your arrival,Matt was out filming with his brothers so he wouldn’t be back for an hour or two. You sat down on the couch and started taking pictures of the tattoo to show your friends,after you were done you decided to watch a random movie to waste some time.
An hour has gone by and you hear the front door open and hear Matt yelling
Basically singing the words,which it’s weird cuz he usually comes home frustrated from Chris’s nagging and Nick’s attitude.
You got up with excitement written all over your face
Matt’s face softened as he saw you,but that quickly turned into confusion as he was looking at your ear…
“Whatchu got there sweetheart?”
Matt asked as he pointed at your ear trying to take a look
“It’s nothing,just come into the living room I’ve got a surprise for you!” Matt looked suspicious but agreed and followed you to the couch.
“Okay so,you know how I was talking about getting a tattoo someday?”
“Yeah you’ve been talking about it a lot” he chuckles.
“Okay so how about you close your eyes for me just for a second”
And Matt does just that but he still isn’t sure how this surprise is gonna go…
“Okay open!” You say as you turn to the side to show your tattoo.
He opens his eyes slowly until he realizes what’s in front of him.
He stays silent for a minute and you start to worry if he likes it or not. So you slowly turn to face him just to see him basically jaw dropped and staring with wide eyes.
“Baby no way this looks amazing! You got my initials tattooed on you as your first tattoo?”
You start giggling as he grabs your jaw softly to look at the tattoo better..
Then he slowly brings his lips to kiss your earlobe softly so it doesn’t hurt
“Do you like it? I was so nervous but so excited to see your face!”
“Baby I fucking love this oh my god,you have no idea what this means to me sweetheart.” He brings his lips to yours to kiss you passionately. You meet his lips and kiss for a few minutes giggling softly until you pull back breathlessly and look at him. And the site that you see made your knees go weak.
He was looking at you with a teared up expression and with those damn puppy eyes that get him through anything.
“Wait so now this means that I have my name on two people! I really am a lucky man aren’t I?”
You giggle as you nod at his words
“Did it hurt a lot?,did the artist give you any numbing cream?,were they gentle?”
Yep Matt’s back to his worrying self again.
“Yes Matt she did give me numbing cream, and yes they were gentle anddd it didn’t hurt a lotl you chuckle as you look at his shoulders drop from relief.
“Okay good” he smiles “you know that this means a lot to me right?”
“Yes Matt,I’m really glad you like it”
“LIKE IT? BABY I LOOOVE IT”
You both start laughing as he kisses you one more time before cuddling and returning to the movie you were watching.
