“i believe it is that fairy, tiz. she is the reason why we keep failing.” ringabel admitted to his friend. for once, the squabbling of the cryst fairy was not in their ears. ringabel did not have the need to slash her wings off with a sword. he also did not have a splitting headache. is this what relaxation felt like? he must remember to jot that thought down in his journal. “we always listen to her, and with the same results.”

“so you do not have an actual demon blood within your body?” it was not like her body was completely human now. since promoting to slayer, her speed and strength enhanced greatly, allowing her to keep up with the undead vermin. “who is this ringabel fool? choosing to dress like one of them? does he know that can get him killed if they smell him?”
this villager she had met in town, and nearly tried to kill admittedly, seemed a bit too naive for his own good. “you might want to get rid of it. for your own good, i mean. if you get bit, come find me, though. i can help take care of it.” although, they probably have different meanings of taking care of things.
