"In the living room…?" Taejun repeated in a questioning tone. The living room had escaped his attention upon arriving home, as he was immediately drawn to the kitchen to start preparing their special dinner for the evening—an occasion both had decided to share this year.

Ensuring the stove was turned off and washing his hands, Taejun left the kitchen and ventured into the living room. How had he missed the giant teddy bear?! A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he reached out to touch the plush. While figuring out how to handle the bear, he shifted it, forcing an envelope to gracefully descend to the floor.

Seating himself on the floor, he opened the folded paper, revealing the heartfelt letter inside. Speechless at first, countless thoughts and emotions swirled within him. After reading it again, a genuine smile finally graced his face. It was real—what he had hoped for had materialized. It wasn't just him; Hyunjin felt the same way.

His head turned swiftly towards the door when he heard a clicking noise. "Hyunjin?"
