"Yeah, life's funny that way," he agreed, "if someone had asked me where I thought I'd be a couple years ago, id have told you id still have been in New York, still a firefighter, engaged or married to a man that didnt love me. But then texas happened, and now I'm an EMT, I've dated a man who loved me more than anything and still let me go," he paused, shaking his head.
