Hello, happy STS! If you had to transform your story into a different genre, which one would you pick and what would it look like?

TSOP is, as usual, the most flexible so I'll use that one for this. + a TLbtS bonus at the end.
So, TSOP is currently fantasy in a completely different world, however it does advance technologically and turns into modern Earth after a while. Because of that, I’d I had to change genres, I'd probably turn it into a general fiction or historical fiction story. Magic wouldn’t be as big of a thing and the gods would’ve long been forgotten by most people, but they’d probably live among humans with the few immortals that have survived that long. I imagine things probably would've turned hostile against people with magic at some point. But also, this would give me a chance to use Librarian Ev and Flower Shop Owner Kei in the story rather than just having that as a sidestory.
TLbtS would probably be the most drastic change though. It's kind of just your typical adventure / sea shanty-ish thing. But if I had to change genres, I'd make it horror. More monsters, more destruction, probably a lot more loss. Think Pirates of the Caribbean 1 vs the later movies.
