Papi have you watched The little drummer girl yet? once again florence is both serving looks and basically steals the show in every scene i love her gaah. Overall it was kinda boring at times but what I wouldn't watch just to see miss pugh

Have I watched it? Lol. I never really rewatch anything and I've watched that shit twice. Once when it came out in 2018 and then again like a year ago. What put Florence on the map for me was Lady Macbeth but what REALLY sealed the deal was Little Drummer Girl. I couldn't run fast enough when they were like "STARRING FLORENCE PUGH, MICHAEL SHANNON, AND ALEXANDER SKARSGARD. ALL EPISODES DIRECTED BY THE MOTHERFUCKING MASTER PARK CHAN-WOOK". I probably tripped over myself on the way to my computer to torrent that. Couldn't run fast enough.

There's no way you can watch that show and not think she's one of the greatest working actresses right now. It's impossible. You could see the Oscar in her future. The writing was on the wall. That being said, was Little Women truly an Oscar worthy performance (or an Oscar worthy movie in general let's be fucking real)..............if we're being honest with ourselves then no. Not that it was bad by any means she was beyond fucking amazing it because she never misses in general. That's a given. That scene where Tentacle Charlottesville is like "Don't marry him?" and she's basically like "Go fuck yourself you little underfed Victorian child." is PHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW PUT IT IN A MUSEUM........but it also wasn't one of the best five of the year. The Oscars just pick the movies they want to blow every season and give all their noms to those regardless of whether they're the actual best five or not. So is she an Oscar worthy actress? FUCK YES. Literally no doubt about it. Was Little Women the thing she should've gotten it for? Eh. It's exactly my same issue with J. Law. She should be an Oscar winner but I *hate* that was the movie she won the Oscar for.

Also...this isn't directed at you per se but this is part of my issue with the Marvel/superhero/blockbuster proliferation and the brain worms they've created. That show is a fucking masterpiece. It's not boring there's just not an explosion every five minutes even though there even ARE explosions in it lol. Media in the last ten years has turned people into zombies and unless you're giving them a cut every three seconds and some wild chase then it's "boring". I fucking hate it. Sit the fuck down and consume intelligent thoughtful media too. (Again not at you, just in general).
