Yall, I'm gonna yap my ass of for a moment about TLG:R. My yappage is not in chonological order, please forgive me (also spoilers for those who still haven't watched it below)

From the moment I saw that they weren't gonna pull punches (water it down to make it more suitable for children) I felt REALLY GOOD ABOUT THIS.

I ended up having to watch it alone cause things just turned out like that.

First off, Daisy. In the OG, she didn't get much of a story aside from being a supporting character. We got some character development (backstory, confirmed long-distance childhood friendship with Molly, and a bit more personality)

The wedding scene. Loved it. Guest was such a silly goose practicing, and Matt recording it, lol, I know damn well he showed it to Daisy, and Charlotte probably saw it when she got older

I love how they made one of the bullies a bacon. And the fact that the two bullies who were childhood friends saw eachother in the war on opposing sides, OUUUGHGHH, I LOVED THAT.

Also, Molly totally wears the pants in the relationship, Matt is not coming back from that "good boy" remark and the way he reacted to it. AND THEY ALMOST KISSED!

The way Guest 1337's parents were killed made me feel sick /pos. It really put more into their death scenes and i think it was much needed.

Matt getting shot felt so much more impactful, and it DIDN'T look like he got shot in the head, so I applaud that. (God, I bet he was a mess when/if it was Molly who patched him up)

I was really hoping to see more interactions between Guest and Charlotte, but hey, we can't have it all, and the mundane stuff is often what fanfic writers are for *looks at all of my mostly forgotten, unfinished TLG fanfics of Guest 1337 being an awesome dad*

I have to say the fight between Guest and the bacon general was peak, but whoever snuck in that metal pipe sfx when the tower fell on the bacon general is DIABOLICAL and they should be awarded for it. It got a smile out of me.

Simon calling Matt guest's boyfriend then immediately getting the "hey, remember that girl you liked in middle school? She's my wife" and then getting put in his place after saying "she was a bitch anyways", WOOOOOO! GO GUEST! GET HIS ASS! Also the fact that Simon was right next to Guest when he said the reason he joined the army was to protect his wife and daughter, I BET SIMON GOT THE MOST GUT WRENCHING FEELING EVER LIKE "WDYM HE MARRIED MY MIDDLE SCHOOL CRUSH AND HAD A BABY WITH HER???"

Also, Guest turning into an absolute beast after Matt got shot. Oh man, oh wow. He demolished that one guy's face. Holy shit, you go, guest!

I love how the decision to join the army was a drunken one, and they went through with it. Also, Guest looked so cute when Matt was asking for more drinks and Guest just kinda went ^_^ and put his head on the bar.

I also like how there was an implication that even CIVILIAN bacon hairs are dangerous to Guests just because... y'know... they're raised by a terrorist organization to hate Guests and pretty much kill them on sight.

Also it's nice for simon to have a name. I mean side characters being built upon

No thoughts to those specific scenes I just thought they were funny

Bro really doesn't want to be there. I wonder if this will just be a running gag or idk

I have a weird feeling there might be a maybe betrayal arc? Idk I just feel like it might be leading somewhere or again might be just a gag

but umm yeah my life's been alright lately i guess

im really excited for summer but also kinda scared because this year im too old to go to our local summer camp as a camper and ive gotta become a counselor in training and like. no way am i responsible enough to become one of those. not to mention its really lonely there and theres no kids my age
