Okay so here is something that has been bugging me for a while to do with the last guest
The way labour camps are portrayed
(obv tw for heavy topics mentioned under the cut, I Don't go into much detail)
1. The lack of hospital(actually the lack of in general any other buildings that are not the sleep area for Guest's. Though I guess there technically isn't a need for that much? Deppends how the camp functions)The camps have been in action with no new additions for presumably at least a year? And I'm guessing the last 5 years or so have not added too many people. Surviving in that type of conditions for that long is just highly unlikely(if not impossible), the lack of any hospital(even with the awful conditions) makes it just... Well not possible. It's not like it would be unrealistic either, most soviet and nazi camps had them(can't speak for any others bc I don't know enough)though obviously conditions there were awful(the official Auschwitz-Birkenau museum talks about that if anyone is curious, it's easy to find)
2 why is the fenced area so big? They have been forced to work there for years, and yet they still have trees to cut? It would make more sense for guest's to leave the camp for work under supervision, rather than fance off an area too big for the becons to control. Rose also shouldn't be able to get this close to the fence, unless the camp is in some middle of nowhere desert, where it doesn't matter if she escapes. Like if she'd jump over she could make it to the civilisation easily(and the bacons do have a resistance so she could've had someone that either helped her back to robloxia, or let her live at their home), or survive in the forest. If the becons have always had controls this shity there would've been guests that managed to escape, and get to robloxia.
Alternatively if the camps were to be in the middle of nowhere(which they aren't since both zara and jez made it on foot if I remember correctly)then there should've been buildings for bacon guards to live in.
last thing that isn't a complaint but uh, well with the second one, jez and zara still have to meet rose somehow, and help guests of course. My ideas for those plot points are
Well if guest's work outside of the camps, the resistance could leave small aid products or food for them to find.
As for Rose meeting Zara, itd could be in the camps hospital?
And Jez well probably too but there is a second option
He could've impersonated a specialised worker. During ww2 in camps like Auschwitz there were instances of Forced Laborers being made to work in camps. They didn't get a say in the matter, they weren't prisoners though, like they had absolutely no power there and were taken to just fulfil work as for instance engineers. They got special passes and were able to leave the premise after their workday. It was complicated however they did sometimes bring help to the victims.
Making him an officer or anything of the sort(even as a cover) would be a very very bad choice that is just wrong on so so many level
I'm contemplating sending this to the writing discussion in tlgr server but Idk if this isn't crossing some sort of a boundary or rule
Also I'm not talking about how they could be portrayed in a more naturalistic way. Like I'm not sure I want to say much rn about how to make them worse(as in yk more horrifying). See cause that would be balancing on a very thin line, it's easy to make a mishap, say too much, make it to distasteful/disgusting and so on or make too much references to lives of very real people that have suffered an awful fate in one of the real concentration camps, making them just a reference in a roblox movie is a no go.
The only thing in any way related to that is I think they could make the building huge but mostly empty, like you can tell it was made and probably house so much more people that are now gone. And ig they could touch more on the hunger but both of those are really light
Matt was back home for some time after guest's death probably. We don't know if there have been any uncertainty about whether or not his coming back to the army, I mean he has suffered an injury
The thing is if it was uncertain, Daisy must have been crushed when she heard that he's back to being a soldier. She just lost her husband, her close friend is still in the army and now her best friend since elementary school, that practically kissed death already is also going back there
All of that while having a small child at home to take care of and practically no family to help(in the reimagined she has Abby I guess)That poor women
notice how guest didnt once say the words "he's not my boyfriend" in retaliation and only pointed out how he's married to daisy. "wahhh but they're both married!" AND???? EVEN HE WONT DENY IT.
