Radio was a legend in #AndersonSouthCarolina, and was the heart and soul of #TLHannaHighSchool since the #1960s, where he attended football games and often led the team onto the field. Radio’s story received national attention back in 1996 when #SportsIllustrated ran a story about him and football coach #HaroldJones. The story later inspired the popular film “Radio.” Jones confirmed Radio’s death today, saying, “He was just a fine man. We all loved him.
