something about piper's fake jason memories that I don't think most of the fandom understands (and rick himself basically retconned later in the series) is that it's very heavily implied in tlh that piper created the most vivid memories herself through the power of love. and rather than being "memories", they were actually visions of her potential future - like she prophetically understood that the "real" jason was a person she could fall in love with before she even knew him
like... hera didn't do this. piper did. piper saw the possibility of real love through the mist and then she made it happen in real life. that's such an interesting ability for a child of aphrodite to have. or at least it was, until rick started acting like this never happened lol
