Would you ever write... a 1920s noir detective AU with Ubbe & the rest?
You know what, maybe.
I do have a detective AU WIP with Ubbe already xD but it's modern day. I could kinda see Ragnar in that type AU though, since he's always so curious in canon. Would fit his character to be a detective in the 1920s 😂
Do I know how to pull that off? Not entirely. But I do believe it would be interesting to explore. And hey, maybe he could investigate Athelstan's death 😂 and then be corrupt and fake evidence when he notices his bff is involved in that specific murder. Can't have your friend in jail after all 😅😂
Or perhaps Amma as one of the first female detectives? She'd get the shit jobs at first, but will make a break through with a case that looked like nothing at first but turned out to be part of a major conspiracy involving politicians, head of the police department and a celebrity. 😂 I think she'd be really awesome at it. Maybe she would find a lead to bring down the Lothbrok family who are your average mobsters, but sadly falls in love with one of the idiot sons of Ragnar. It doesn't stop her from putting him in jail though.
Slaying in a 1920s outfit, turning heads and booking mobsters. The usual. Yeah, okay this is definitely the much likelier version 🤣
