          ‘ wait! i can help! ‘ it was barely a moment between rapunzel seeing the blood on the woman’s arm, and taking up a few strands of her own hair to wrap around the wound. there was a time when the notion of using her power on a stranger would have sent her into a panic. now, she just wanted to help people. her voice was quiet as she sang, still unwilling to provide the secret of unlocking her power to untrusted ears. but as the glow of her hair faded, rapunzel smiled. ‘ does that feel better? ‘

“  No, no.  I’m right.  ”   The argument he’s been having with himself is presumably brought to its conclusion with a swift,  decisive nod of his head.  The Doctor’s tucked his chin to his chest,  presumably while he ponders jumbled recollections and how they pair with the figure in front of him.  Blood and chaos and only just saving Phin from the ever-reaching jaws of desolation,  death.  Life in his hands,  yet again.  Fortunately circumstances the antithesis of when they last met have granted them a moment of quietude.

He points in her direction and knocks back his chin.  What victory carried by mischief’s light in his eyes finally makes its way to his voice.   “  Shorter than I remember.  ”

gaining the trust of an angel wasn’t easy. nor was it ever thought possible. dylan didn’t just have to be careful . . . he had to cautious as well. to take as many precautions as possible due to the potential of dying.

testing . . . putting to good use his idea’s was one thing, but enacting it was another. it was a time that would come. just not now - not when it was quite clear that remi’s trust in dylan was not as strong as he would have hoped. however, there was hope that over time that would eventually change.

“remi,” he says, arms slipped behind his back, grin spread fully across his face, “kill for me.”
