I think it's kind of crazy the kind of narrative framing legend of korra does to posit the earth queen, a person with a massive army force, a secret police, and airbending slaves who she was going to put in her army to die, as less dangerous and a secondary threat to a small group of people who for all except the last episode of the season have the goal of overthrowing oppressive governments

If there's one thing that I love in s3 of tlok it's that it's shown how Korra and Asami work so well together. How easily they got past the whole mako thing? That time they fought the raiders in that one earth kingdom town? That time they escaped capture from the earth queen's forces in the desert? They clearly are so in sync they were bound to end up together. Legends only
