OH THIS IS SO CUTE!! They manage to adapt RyuShu's love for meaningful conversation while walking in the palace garden. Ryuuki finally gifted her the hairpin. He carved it by himself. OG Ryuuki embroider stuff for Shuurei but since there's no Shusui in cdrama to teach him, it make sense he has different handicraft skills. I like that Ryuuki told her to not forget who she is before she became his wife. Shuurei at first assume he's implying about their hierarchy but cdrama Ryuuki cleared up he meant what kind of great person she is who has a dream and love helping people before she entered his palace. It made cdrama Shuurei smile.

Ryuuki's love language is picking up plants by himself and gifting it. I actually like the idea of him and her gardening together. Instead of giving her sapling only, he helped her relocate a small tree to make it grow steadily in cdrama adaption.

I'm still stunned by how beautiful their wedding wardrobe even if they didn't meet. It look so expensive lol Look at those embroidery in the clothing. JUST WOW.

TLORC is finally finished and my final verdict is I hate it as a whole. I think the Sa province arc is my last straw. Its not only a bad adaption but as a standalone story its still awful.

I like the actors okay, the costumes, palace setting and fighting choreography but some of the decisions for some scenes are just what the hell. I can't believe they think the changes are good...

I hate DENG WEI's version of Sakujun so much than the real thing because he's so boring. OG Sakujun might be evil but at least he's interesting. The drama really wasted his visuals and not wrote a good script for him. People who defend his character are just blind. Good looks can't save a boring character.

What they did good is 3 Palace Great Advisors(3 old men) story. I can really feel these 3 are friends. I feel like they had more bromance than RyuukiKouuyuuShuuei. The actor for Enjun is so good.

I ship Zeng Shunxi and Li Yitong's RyuShu so much but I hated the build up they are doing went to nothing. I already complained some of their scenes but their garden and archives scenes are peak though. YOU CASTED THE PERFECT ACTORS FOR THE ROLES AND YOU GUYS MESSED IT UP.

Their rendition of Jiang Shu(Ko Kijin) is fun to watch. Shuuran, Eigetsu, Ensei, Shuuran, Korin, Shuuei, Hakumei, Reishin and Kouyuu are not perfect but tolerable. They need improvement but they are okay.

Don't watch this if you're a fan of Seiran, Jyuusanhime, Sakujun and Shouka. You'll be disappointed.

Oh by the way, the cdrama made RyuShu always together but its not surprising since cdrama love doing that. Maybe most of people love it when a couple is always together all the time. They don't understand the beauty of yearning by being busy or separated. I noticed that when I compare the original work and cdrama adaption. But the disadvantages of this, we can't see their separate character arcs happened simultaneously. Ryuuki improving himself as ruler, connecting with others and don't revolve his life in only romance while Shuurei is experiencing the world by traveling to different provinces to do her job. Well, Shuurei is less powerful in the cdrama anyway. She's only official and Ryuuki is the governor there so in a way it make sense why they had more chance to be together.

Sorry I laughed in this scene. Cdrama Sakujun really tried to force Shuurei to drink the tea with him in their wedding day lmaooo So pathetic. Its kinda crazy the OG Sakujun didn't force Shuurei to make him tea but it still feel he kinda win because he schemed her in a situation where she'll be the one who can kill him. Manipulative bastard.
