random little ramble but i absolutely love how tlou potrays ellies ptsd. as someone whos diagnosed with ptsd i think they did an amazing job showing what its really like. the way the stairs seemed never ending and how joel was screaming her name when he never actually did and her not being able to break down the door. the way something as small as a shovel falling or door slamming or pig squealing triggers flashbacks. and how in her attacks everything starts getting muffled but her heartbeat amplifies and ears ring. its truly a horrible thing to live with so i always appreciate when i see it potrayed really well in media. i wish we got more of it but i think the scenes in the lost levels make up for that a bit

Details about The Last of Us part 2 that we learn in The Lost Levels:

- Ellie won Olly the elephant (JJ’s toy on the farm) in an arcade game on the night she had her first kiss with Dina.

- Cat was still around Jackson and was interested in adding to Ellie’s tattoo

- Kids in Jackson have developed their own version of tag where the one who is ‘it’ pretends to be a clicker while chasing the others. Possibly the kid playing the clicker would close their eyes and try to find others using sound.

- Ellie potentially had ptsd flashbacks/panic attacks - similar to the one on the farm - throughout the game. One example that was almost used being Ellie getting a flash of Joel in replacement of a dead clicker as she crawls through a pipe.

I wish there had been something to add for Abby but this was cool anyway
