LAWS OF ATTRACTION [EP 2] // WORD OF HONOR [EP 4]
@forcebook said somewhere in the tags that Charn is WKX coded and I can't get it out of my head. They both have a precious little meow meow energy (as @blmpff likes to call it).

WORD OF HONOR [EP 13] // LAWS OF ATTRACTION [EP 4]
Possessive heroes to the rescue! Apparently, Tinn can also channel his inner Wen Kexing. All credit for this spinning parallel goes to @omarandjohnny but I also have strangely intense Wenzhou feels every time I watch LoA.

So I finished Word of Honor.
(like two weeks ago but I still think about it)
What do I do now? How do I move on?
I am rarely being dramatic but this show surprised me so much that I am still kind of in awe. Sure, as it was my first attempt at wuxia / martial art world concept I was overwhelmed by the amount of information I needed to process. The plot was full of twists and turns that didn't make sense to me and could sometimes be found exhausting. The number of characters/names to remember got my head spinning. But it all stopped being important the moment I saw the merry band of leads indulging in banter on screen (and when I say leads I mean the whole fam: Wen Kexing, Zhou Zishu, Chengling, Gu Xiang with the late addition of Cai Weining).
I liked them from the very first scene they appeared in which is honestly baffling as I usually find one character to hook on and then warm up to the others longer. Here I didn't even have to overcome any initial irritation, I would have followed their shenanigans any time despite questionable narrative choices. As I probably mentioned halfway through THEIR DYNAMIC WAS GOLDEN IN EVERY COMBINATION. Like... looking at this gif will make my heart melt for a foreseeable future.
Honestly, I did not expect for Word of Honor to give such a heartwarming family dynamics. I went into it encouraged by Gong Jun longing stares and expecting main leads old-married-couple vibe. What I am actually enjoying the most though is the atmosphere when Chengling / Gu Xian / Cao Weining are around. Relationship between every pair of the bunch has its own tone and domesticity of it all goes through the roof!
Coming back to those playful moments can heal a soul, honestly. I have a feeling I'll be doing that a lot.
*I know there will be plenty of angst later on I am just stuck at the times when they were happy
