MAG 101 Fan Animation Project

What is the MAG 101 fan animation project?

This project is a fan-run project that wants to animate MAG 101 Another Twist together!

The episode has been sorted into 122 parts varying in length between roughly 5-15 seconds, each animator can take on up to 3 parts of their choice!

If you aren’t an animator and would still like to help, you can sign up as an editor and help edit the final product as well as making sure the individual animation parts flow into each other smoothly!

Edit: We currently don’t take editors anymore though editor sign ups may open up again later on!

Where can I sign up?

Simply fill out the following google form and you’ll receive the link to our discord server where the project will be organised and run! If you cannot download discord for any reason you can let us know in the form and we’ll figure something out for you, though I would ask everyone who can to please join the server as it’s easier that way

Access Google Forms with a personal Google account or Google Workspace account (for business use).

Are there any standards I have to keep in mind for the animation parts?

Im Short, no! Whether you choose to provide a roughly coloured in animatic or a fully rendered 24 fps animation is totally up to you!

When are the deadlines?

There currently aren’t any specific deadlines as it’s hard to guess how long it’ll take to get enough people on the team to complete the project, we’re currently aiming for having the animation parts done in January and the final product out in February of next year!

✨👁 TMA Tarot: Production Update 👁✨

Hello dear readers! It’s once again time for our regular production updates to keep you all in the loop as our project progresses. Keep reading below the cut for updates and merch previews!

Currently, here is how things are going:

As always, you can find the previous update with all its goodies here. As of last time, all stickers, sticker sheets, charms, pins, polaroids, and prints were in.

Once again, estimated shipping is now mid-to-late September, based on the shipping statuses of everything we haven’t received yet.

Mod Nightshade has begun packaging as much of the orders as she can without the decks being in yet. Hopefully this will help speed along the shipping process once everything has finally arrived.

Journals and music boxes have both arrived! See below for pictures!

The decks have all been packaged and shipped. They should arrive in about two weeks!

The journals when they arrived....delivery drivers are the unsung heroes of the zine scene!

(we feel sorry for the person who has to deliver the decks...)

We’ll see you in two weeks, hopefully with the decks in hand! Until then, stay hydrated and well-rested and don’t forget your meds or your homework!

Hello dear readers! Welcome to our 10/1 production update. This one has some very important updates and instructions on how to change your shipping address, if needed, so please be sure you read it if you think you need to.

Very big updates today!

As always, you can find the previous update with all its goodies here. As of last time, all stickers, sticker sheets, charms, pins, polaroids, prints, music boxes, and journals were in.

The decks have arrived! Mod Nightshade has been hard at work checking for B grades and damages and packaging up orders in preparation to start shipping. Where would we be without her? You can see the stacks of journals and decks in boxes here (with Nightshade’s 6′1″ son for height reference...so many boxes!)

We’re hoping to begin shipping in the next week or so, allowing time to finish sorting the products by damages and getting them packaged up. An announcement will go up when the shipping begins, and everyone will receive emails with their tracking numbers as their packages go out.

We’re planning to ship in waves, starting with the international orders first, then the domestic orders and the PDF will go out along with those. Keep an eye out, because it will be during October!

If you need to change your shipping address, please email us ([email protected]) with your ORDER NUMBER and your NEW ADDRESS. We will get it noted down so your order won’t be shipped to the wrong place. 

Since shipping is starting soon, now is the best time to change your shipping address if need be. Mod Nightshade has over 700 orders to package and ship, so please don’t be that person who waits until the very last minute to ask for a change in address. Do it now and save us some time and headaches!

If you fail to reach out to us before your order ships and it goes to the wrong place, that is not our fault and we can’t fix it, so please let us know now to avoid any disappointments and frustrations. Thank you!

Estimated shipping is now late September and through October, as we’re waiting on the decks still.

The decks were stuck in China unexpectedly due to some missing paperwork but have now officially shipped and should be here next week!

Since we’ve had so many unexpected delays, here’s a little sneak peek at the deck itself:

The charms and polaroids have arrived. We’ve showed pictures in previous update, so I’ll only put one of all the charms together here:

The enamel pins have also come in! Aren’t they gorgeous?

The journals are currently in transit while the decks, guidebooks, and music boxes are all in production.

The deck bags arrived but due to a sewing error, the dimensions came out too small to fit the decks (3.5″x5.5″ instead of the 4″x6″ they were supposed to be). The company is supplying us with replacements, but it will be a little bit before they’re in. In the meantime, if you would like an extra deck bag or two (they make excellent dice bags, among other things!) you can have as many as you’d like included for free in your order. Just send us an email with your order number and how many you’d like and we’ll be sure to include them! Here’s how they look right now (note how the sample deck doesn’t fit):
