Jon is a slim british indian person with middle dark brown skin, long, dark brown, wavy hair with silver streaks and various scars covering his body. He is wearing a light yellow tanktop and a red skirt with a mesh skirt on top, as well as a knee brace on his right leg. There are two cat stickers on the cane. end ID]

TMA Disability Pride Event
Hello and welcome all! In honor of Disability Pride Month, we are proud to bring you an event dedicated to creating and uplifting fan works for The Magnus Archives that highlight characters with disabilities (in canon or via personal interpretation).
What works are we looking for?
For this event we are asking people to create or submit works featuring TMA characters who are disabled in any way (either in canon or via personal interpretation/headcanon). The works do not necessarily need to be focused on the characters’ disabilities, but disabled characters should be included in some way. And just so everyone knows right off the bat, this absolutely includes neurological disabilities and neurodivergence!
When will this take place?
The “official day” for posting the event will be July 31st. However, because we recognize that less than two weeks may be short notice for some to complete their works in time, we will continue accepting submissions and tracking our tags well after this date!
So who can participate?
This event will be open to anyone who would like to submit their work to be featured on our page. As a note: you do not have to be disabled to submit works to us. All you have to do is use the tag #tmadisabilitypride or #tmadisabledpride, or @ us! You will also be able to submit external works to an AO3 collection that will be up and running soon.
Are there any rules to be aware of?
Yes. Because we want this blog to be a safe space, no works promoting any kind of bigotry such as racism, transphobia, or ableism will be tolerated. Works glorifying inherently abusive/racist/inc*stuous pairings will also not be accepted. If you have any questions pertaining to what content will be accepted or otherwise, feel free to send us an ask!
We will also encourage artists to describe any art they submit, to make this an event accessible for screenreaders. In case this is not possible for whatever reason, one of our mods will describe it for you.
Thank you for reading! Make sure to follow us for more updates as the event approaches!! We hope to see you and your lovely works soon!

Hello! I was wondering if you would be active again this disability pride month? :-)
Hey there!
Although we realized recently that the year kind of got away from us in terms of organized planning, we still want this blog to be active, and we would love to continue promoting y'all's lovely works!! I'll definitely try to be more on top of checking the tags this upcoming month and see if we've missed anything/be on the look out for anything new :)
It means a lot that people still want to create and enjoy works for this event, and we would be honored to see more of those this year!!
So, in short, yes! :) And thank you for this wonderful ask!!

Hello Hello!!
Apologies for the silence these past few weeks, but here's an event update! Our first official posting date on July 31st is fast approaching and we can't wait to see what people have made!
However, we have also seen that a lot of you are stressed about the event deadline or wishing you could participate but need more time to do so. We hear you!
The second official deadline for the TMA Disability Pride Event will be August 21st!
Hopefully that gives everyone more time to prepare. In between those two times we will continue to reblog any submissions we receive.
Please let us know if you have any more questions. We can't wait to see what you all create!
Happy Disabled Pride! 🖤💚💙🤍💛❤

Hello everyone!
Yes, today is posting day!!! We're so excited to see what you've made! Tagging us is the quickest way for us to see your work, so please do so so we can reblog!
We also would like to apologize for our silence for most of the time in between last posting day and now. Both of us work full time jobs and honestly just lost track of time! And if you did too, hey, we get it! If you tag us after this date we will absolutely still boost you by reblogging your work regardless of the deadline.
This was also both of our first times running anything like this, so there was definitely a learning curve and we appreciate you sticking with us. We'd love to continue this account and offer more events in the future, and hopefully by next year we can have a most structured event for Disability Pride Month, what we created this account hoping to do!
We've absolutely adored all the art we've seen so far and are so excited by the love and support (and of course disabled pride!) surrounding our event! We can't wait to work with you all more in the future and create lots more work celebrating how beautiful disability is through our favorite podcast characters.
Thank you so much again to all of you, and as always, happy disabled pride!

[Large text: Hello to all!!! It’s our first posting day!!!! 🎉🎉]
Friendly reminder to tag all posts you want us to reblog as #tmadisabilitypride or #tmadisabledpride ! You can also feel free to @ us or send us a link with what you’d like us to reblog.
And another reminder to anyone who wasn’t able to finish something in time, there will be a second day to post event-related content on August 21st, and we will still be tracking the tags between and after these dates!
We’re so delighted to see what everyone sends in today!!! :D Lots of love!!

Hey! I have a question. If theres a fic that we did in the past and already posted can we include that or does it have to be new? Also what if it was written for a different event? Would it be possible to post a link to it here on tumblr?
Hi there! You can absolutely use old works for this event so long as they meet the criteria, and are labeled as originally made for the other event! And we would need a post with the link to it, if it's on another site, for us to reblog it!
Thanks so much for your question! We're super excited about how much love our event has gotten already 🥰
