Summary:

Working at the Magnus Institute was stressful by default. With monsters, mayhem, and potential primordial entities, it has very little expectations for being a comfortable job. However, everyone is allowed to have a little fun sometimes - even an archivist, their assistants, and their really creepy boss. Fueled by spite and a rampant lack of heterosexuality, they all try to balance their work life with a bit of fun and a healthy dose of bullying twelve-times divorced Elias Bouchard.

First, I want to give a huge thank you to my amazing co-mods @dont-taunt-the-octopus and @shelbychild. I loved getting to work with you both, and I can’t wait to continue to do so in the future!

Next up, a thank you to our amazing betas! You guys saved our asses on this and dealt with constant grammar wars as we tried to mesh British and American grammar. Smoke and Fire

Feel the heat so we started running You know you saw it coming But the memories are still in my mind Burning like smoke and fire

Tim jumped in fear, spinning toward the sudden sound behind him. “Get away from me!” he cried. The clown that wore Basira’s face muttered some half hearted protest - an attempt to trap him, to take his skin. 

“I’m not one of them” it slurred out, its voice a cheap facsimile of a human.

Here is my title card for @notesofarichlycolorednight‘s fic for @tmabigbang “Spinning ‘Round (like two sides of a coin)”, which you can read on Ao3 here!

This piece was super fun to make because my goal was to challenge myself a bit and weave in the symbolism seen in A’s fic itself. First, I wanted to make the background of this title card stained wood like that seen on that of a wooden stage, mirroring the stage that begins and ends this fic. While I also wanted to make a set of two coins, one for Tim and one for Sasha, I decided to edit the one facing away from Tim’s coin to be almost ghostly to mirror Sasha’s status.

I really do recommend this fic. A is an amazing writer whose fic has made me cry, a truly stunning feat. I love you A, and I loved the opportunity to work with you!!
