I'm a bit fixated on The Music Freaks again, so have some unapologetic oc x canon with a character from that with an OC I made. May make some content of it soon.
Also, the characters name is Lakshmi—she is a lonely, socially awkward girl who spends so little time with actual people that she is unaware of MANY things (like the fact that theres an actual gaming club in her school). She is a little spacey and pays very little attention due to how focused she gets on her games, is very monotone and lacks expression (she also doesnt really raise her voice that much), and is a nerd about video games—she is incredibly good at them though, to the point where she crushes basically anyone she plays with in any video game. And her favorite game is Mario Kart (her favorite genre of games are racing games).
And, as seen here, Jake is her love interest—and happens to befriend her by accident because she cheers him up during episode 3 when he isnt doing so well, by.. cheering him up the one way she knows how to make herself feel better. Playing a video game. So she gives him a second gaming console, plays Tetris 99 with him for a bit, and manages to actually make him feel better. Jake is grateful for this, so he naturally starts talking to her more and inviting her to things, and they eventually become friends. Its like an extrovert adopts introvert type situation (though Lakshmi is so socially awkward and lonely that she literally does not even know they're friends until Jake states they are—and due to feeling comfortable, Lakshmi comes a little more sociable and starts making more friends after meeting him).
