no you are definitely right i agree with that for sure, i think ignoring cultural differences is one of the worst things people could do ever. but i think there is a difference between recognizing cultural disparities and compensating for them as opposed to just allowing them to create hostility, which just ends up stifling people even more. i'm probably not making any sense but i just want there to be a way for everyone to truly understand cultural identity and still be able to see the unity within humanity..... idk maybe it's not even possible it's probably too idealistic idk

ok although i do agree trends can lead to bastardization and oversimplification of some causes, i think they can also help raise awareness of the issue!! and i think for the most part people on here are informed and smart abt this ok

yea but i think most of the time it makes people forget it's an actual issue and just look at it as a trend, you know?? yes a lot of people are informed but a lot of them aren't and the trends won't help the ones who aren't
