Today’s “Kronk’s Epiphany Moment” was noticing how Draxum has the ability to create portals
And in the movie, Mikey unlocks that ability, too…
So, of course my brain translates this as: Mikey inherited Draxum’s ability to create portals 🥺✨ and Draxum’s gonna have to teach Mikey Post-movie how to hone those powers properly and appropriately.
But Mikey would probably start out using his portals for silly things like dropping pudding on his brothers, or cheating when he’s racing Leo, etc. And Draxum gives him the old, “if you use your portal magic inappropriately, something bad might happen.”
And lo and behold, Mikey’s portal to the video game store either sends him someplace strange or lets in something dangerous. Kind of like one of those situations where you say “let’s make a portal to Lou Mike Tony Toni’s because they make a killer pizza” but then accidentally opening a portal that lets in “killer pizzas” from another dimension.
Like what if Mikey accidentally transports himself onto a Triceratron warship and when someone like Raph goes to save him, Mikey manages to escape but Raph gets captured and forced to fight for the Triceratron’s amusement? Like the Triceratrons mistake Raph as a (insert spices of turtle-alien here), and Raph is like, “man, there’s a lot of good looking me’s out here” (referring to those other times he got mistaken for yōkai criminals).
AND THEN you have Draxum scolding Mikey back at home like, “what did I say about abusing portal magic??” — like, a good ol’ fashion concerned/upset parent scolding cuz he was worried about the safety of err’ybody.
But then you have a sad Mikey who’s just like “how do we save Raph?! How do I find him?!”
And Draxum’s just like, “don’t worry, we’ll find him” 😤✨
