“You called me here because? I have more important things to do like I don’t know, anything that is not this. So don’t waste my time.”
Aurora wiped her wrist across her forehead, soil smearing across her skin unknowingly. She had been working in her garden the better half of the morning, engrossed in the greenery she managed to produce in the hot Nevada heat in the past few months. She gazed across the growing veggies and herbs, satisfied with their progress. It was then Ry noticed she had company. “Oh, my apologies.” her cheeks shaded a light pink. “I didn't know you were there,” she rose off her knees, now stained in dirt and made her way over to the other. “I’ve some lavender lemonade made up if you care for some.” Her smile sweet and genuine.
CJ just recently started learning how to use a bow and arrow. She was always fascinated by the one she stumbled across in a store and had to get it, so she got it for herself. So now she brought it out of where she had it hidden in her apartment and decided to teach herself how to use it. She let out a deep sigh as she missed her target. “Shit.” She mumbled under her breath. As she walked over to her fallen arrow she noticed a figure walking towards her.
CJ just sat there listening to the person tell her all the embarrassing stuff that she has done last night. She has no memory of any of it. Ran her fingers through her hair a little trying to remember a little bit of something, nothing came back to her. “Did I really do all that stuff? I can see myself doing some of it but wow.” She looked up at the person. “Was I drunk?”
CJ was stuck in her own little world for the past couple of minutes, and did not realize that someone came up to her; and sat down next to her. She rubbed her eye as it was kind of bothering her and turned to the person. “I’m sorry, what did you say? Kind of went somewhere else for a minute.”
Suraj had spent most of his life on the streets, but he had been staying in a cramped apartment recently. It was a shitty place, but it put a roof over his head. It had easy rent with an easier to coax landlord and he was doing fine – until the building got a new landlord. And, now, he was getting evicted. He was getting kicked onto the streets again and he needed a plan – but he was out of ideas. Exhausted and in the mood to forget everything for a bit, Suraj ended up at a bar. Lifting his drink, he turned to the person sitting beside him, “Cheers to a fucking shit day and the beautiful hangover I’m hoping to get.”
“--Give me candy or give me death!” she exclaimed before bursting into laughter. “Quite frankly, I think that’s my new motto.“
Perhaps carrying too many things on her own was a bad idea, but Agatha was too stubborn to ask for help. So the busy brunette shuffled her way down the sidewalk lugging around heavy bags of pet toys and food for the shelter she worked at. In consequence of this, Agatha could barely see in front of her. In a matter of seconds, Agatha’s shoe caught in a crevice in the sidewalk, causing her to tumble through the air. As she crashed into the pavement, her bags fell and scattered around her. Recollecting herself, she hoped nobody had seen the whole embarrassing ordeal.
